I can’t believe I have done something everyday for the last 23 days. It helps a little with my memory, at this point I am all about arbitrary names and variables. I am losing my grip on numbers as it is. It is probably the brain fog that has developed over the years, sitting at one place, stressing all the time, not taking care of myself and being exposed to diseases and pollution for so long.

I exercised a lot today, mostly lifting. I obviously need to increase the weights for better output, or take the exercises to the next level. More stress, more challenge, more progress. Though, it was a hectic day. The workshop organized on campus by the RAS Council was planned for 2PM. At around 1:30PM, I was told that there is a problem. I was wondering how things were going so smooth anyway. It’s barely the case that something happens without a hiccup. It took me a solid hour to sort everything out, then I had to moderate the entire thing online, make sure the questions were in place, and sent to the moderators on campus, and that there was no issue while coordinating with the team there. I hate being away like this.

The session was great, the main speaker was a little boring, though it was so nice to Prof. C. Balaji on stage again. He was there very briefly and talked about publishing, how reviewing works and so forth. He obviously took it to the next level, not because of speaking skills, but because of his knowledge in the field. It was today when I learned that he was the editor-in-chief of one of the scientific journals based in Tamil Nadu. I retired after writing some emails, sending the details to the RaSoR coordinators.

I saw this video about a Korean kid, just 4-5 years old. The work culture had made him a victim too. Not that he was a workaholic, but his parents were. Seeing him lonely and scared like that, makes me wish I could fix somethings myself. It’s experiences like these, which teach a man, putting him through the test of time.

My day got used up entirely with random things, I hope it wraps up by this weekend.

Tonight, I experimented on an exhausted and stressed out person. I was able to delude them into thinking that there is an exam tomorrow, by talking with a serious tone and sending a fake email. It was fun, until I was caught red-handed. Fun times.
