The one question that most bloggers / writers must ponder upon eventually: Why am I doing this? Why am I spending time writing my thoughts and experiences for the world?

The one thing that also intimidates most of us is starting something new, treading in uncharted waters. Though, there are some things that one has to undertake sooner or later. This is one of those experiences for me. I know that I would have to write down about most of my life’s experiences one day or another, one way or another, and today is one such day.

Hi, my name is Yuvraj Sharma. If you haven’t seen my portfolio website already, I am a software developer, musician and an explorer who knows about a lot of things, mostly by experience. I like to create things, observe the world around me and help people in any way I can. I know introductions suck, I hate them too, but this is the only way you would get to know about me, so it’s pretty necessary. As you proceed along this blog site, you will find a lot of things that I learned in my life. Through some posts, you will learn about me and my life too, but that’s just wishful thinking I guess.

Answering the question I had introduced in the first paragraph, I am going to write not only to keep myself in touch with myself, but to also help others who seek some help in similar subjects. Everything I write here is going to act as an archive of everything that I know about everything, so that whenever I, or you, go through these posts, things will start making sense. As a footnote, I also want to archive everything I know to pass it onto the next generation as well. You never know whom it might help, and if I can help someone grow up right through some words that I happened to write, I couldn’t be happier.

This is my first blog, but this is a rather special one, simply because this is possibly the only blog which won’t be touched again after getting published. Obviously, if I am migrating the site or whatever, then the location would change, but the contents will remain constant. It serves two purposes, it will help me stay motivated whenever I am pondering on the questions I started off this post with, and secondly, it will help anyone who is starting off their journey over here by reading this by giving them an idea about what’s going on.

Along with everything else, I want to also give a message to my kin, the future generations and my future self who might stumble upon this, and anyone else who might care at all. Carry on the legacy of the values, the experiences and the knowledge. Carry on the legacy that I am building right now with this first post, right up to the very last one. A lot better can be done in the world, and I believe you can do it too, so just pick on everything that I leave over here and make the ride worth it, because what we have, the knowledge, the power of a soul, the ability to do unimaginably great things is not just a gift, but also a privilege. Don’t let pride blind you, don’t let greed consume you, don’t let anguish define you, for it’s all momentary.

This blog post would have a different meaning altogether in the future for sure as I build up on things, but the idea behind it and the essence of the contents will remain the same, untouched, full on 24K. See you around!
